Welcome to Make That Song. By purchasing a custom song or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
OUR SERVICE
Make That Song creates personalized songs based on the stories, memories, names, details, musical preferences, and other information you provide.
Our creative process may include human songwriting, editing, creative direction, arrangement, quality review, and AI-assisted music production technology.
YOUR STORY & INFORMATION
You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to submit any names, stories, photographs, recordings, or other materials you provide to us.
By submitting this information, you give Make That Song permission to use it as necessary to create, revise, produce, and deliver your custom song.
We will not intentionally use your personal story, song, photographs, or other identifiable materials for public advertising or promotional purposes without your permission.
LYRIC REVIEW & APPROVAL
Before your song is produced, you will have an opportunity to review the lyrics.
Please carefully check names, pronunciations, relationships, dates, facts, personal details, and the overall message of the song.
Once you approve the lyrics, we will begin music production.
Changes requested after lyric approval that substantially change the story, lyrics, musical direction, chorus, structure, or concept may require an additional fee.
REVISIONS
Your order includes one round of minor factual corrections.
Minor corrections may include incorrect names, facts, relationships, pronunciations, or similar details.
Major creative changes, including rewriting substantial portions of the lyrics, changing the musical style after production, or requesting an entirely different version of the song, are not included unless otherwise stated in your order.
DELIVERY
Standard orders are generally delivered within approximately 3–5 business days after lyric approval.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific guaranteed delivery date has been purchased or confirmed in writing.
Delays in receiving customer information, feedback, or lyric approval may affect delivery time.
AI-ASSISTED MUSIC PRODUCTION
Make That Song uses modern AI-assisted music production technology as part of its creative process.
AI technology may contribute to elements such as vocals, instrumentation, melody, arrangement, or production.
AI-generated performers or voices should not be understood or represented as actual human performers.
We do not intentionally clone or impersonate the voice of a specific artist, celebrity, or other person.
PERSONAL-USE LICENSE
Unless a commercial license is purchased, your completed song includes a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license for personal use.
You may listen to, store, back up, gift, privately share, play at personal events, use in personal videos or slideshows, and share the song through personal social media accounts subject to the rules of those platforms.
The standard personal-use license does not include use in paid advertising, business promotion, commercial projects, monetized commercial content, resale, merchandise, sublicensing, or other commercial uses.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Your purchase provides you with the license described above and does not automatically transfer every possible copyright or intellectual-property right associated with the song.
Make That Song retains any rights it may lawfully hold in its original human-created contributions, subject to the license granted to you.
Because AI-assisted technology may be used during production, some portions of a completed work may have different copyright status under applicable law. Make That Song does not guarantee that every element of a completed song is independently eligible for copyright protection.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel before songwriting work begins, a full refund may be available.
Once songwriting work has begun but before lyric approval, any refund will depend on the amount of work already completed.
Once lyrics have been approved and music production has begun, orders are generally non-refundable because the product is custom-made specifically for you.
If Make That Song is unable to complete your order, we will provide an appropriate refund.
ACCEPTABLE USE
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders involving unlawful material, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized impersonation, threats, harassment, or other content we reasonably determine we should not produce.
You are responsible for determining whether the finished song is appropriate for its intended recipient or audience.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We may use third-party technology and service providers to help process payments, collect order information, create music, store files, communicate with customers, and deliver our services.
Use of third-party platforms may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.
PLATFORM & MONETIZATION DISCLAIMER
We cannot guarantee that a song will be accepted by Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other third-party platform.
We also do not guarantee eligibility for copyright registration, monetization, distribution, Content ID, royalties, or similar programs.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Make That Song's liability arising from an order or use of our service will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order will apply to that purchase.
